Steel Production Director - Manufacturing - Egypt

Reporting to the General Manager, you are required to carry out the below duties:

• Lead and manage the steel making operations (Long and flat steel) to meet production targets, quality standards and cost objectives
• Overseeing operations, including melting, refining, casting and cooling processes
• Effectively collaborating with internal departments such as maintenance, quality control and safety
• Responsible for implementing process improvement policies in place, to ensure seamless production
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve production efficiency
• Responsible for managing a high volume of steel production, while managing multiple production lines
• Drive initiatives for sustainable practices, waste reduction and cost efficiency
