Property and Engineering Underwriter H/F

Job responsibilities:

• Underwrite and maintain a profitable book of property et engineering business,
• Determine and recommend acceptable pricing and terms, within underwriting authority, on new business and renewals,
• Evaluate reinsurance needs and coordinates as necessary within company and departmental guidelines,
• Stay current on competition, underwriting environment, and market conditions and to share findings and updates with all members of the team as appropriate,
• Proactively working in collaboration with distribution, Underwriters, claims, finance, actuary and risk management on business enquiries,
• Provide technical guidance on property et engineering claims matters where required.
