As UK & France Regional Compliance Manager M/F, based in Prestwick with some travel to France, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Foster a positive culture of compliance by working with the business to establish compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies and procedures,
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with the business, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, and the various functions that have regulatory compliance responsibilities,
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews, as directed, to ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct other policies and procedures, and specific laws and regulations,
  • At the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer conduct or manage internal ethics and compliance investigations,
  • Coordinate with the Chief Compliance Officer the interpretation of the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct or underlying laws and regulations when required,
  • Work with appropriate compliance team members in the US to properly record, triage, and assign for investigation all ethics and compliance issues brought to attention,
  • Develop and execute ethics and compliance training as necessary,
  • Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer liaise with the programs and other functions to assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of their specific regulatory compliance programs, e.g. EH&S, Contracts, Quality, Logistics,
  • Assist in the facilitation of the annual Code of Ethics and Business Conduct training and recertification,
  • At the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer plan, develop, and execute the communications plan and other appropriate activities in the UK and France in support of Corporate Ethics and Compliance Week, which is held the first full week of November,
  • Serve as the UK ethics and compliance ombudsman,
  • Represent the law department on assigned matters at the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer,
  • Manage the UK and France trade compliance teams and ensure continued compliance with export and import laws and regulations with added emphasis on Technology Export Control and Inward Processing Relief regulatory requirements,
  • Works with the business to establish compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and Spirit internal policies and procedures,
  • Interpretation of the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct or underlying laws and regulations,
  • To be the UK ethics and compliance ombudsman,
  • Represent the law department on assigned matters at the direction,
  • Work independently and only referring upwards for very complex or sensitive matters,
  • Lead and manage the UK & France Trade Compliance Team,
  • Conduct & sign off the Performance Management process for Trade Compliance team.

Profil recherché

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have unwavering moral character, the highest degree of ethical behaviour, unimpeachable integrity, exceptional discretion, and sound judgement
  • Working knowledge in a manufacturing industry and associated regulatory compliance challenges
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Ability to analyse problems, determine corrective actions, and drive to completion
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Solid continuous process improvement mind-set and skills
  • Detail orientated and highly-organised
  • Punctuality combined with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and in particular to make recommendations that will be accepted and acted upon by management
  • Shall have the ability and flexibility to move from one task to another and to be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises
  • Highly experienced in interfacing with government agencies and executive management
  • Must be comfortable presenting and answering ethics and compliance questions at the highest levels of leadership
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
  • Familiarity with ethics and compliance reporting systems
  • Professional ethics and compliance certification form a recognised accreditation authority is a plus, e.g. International Compliance Association (ICA), Compliance Certification Board (CCB)

Conditions et Avantages

Based in Prestwick the UK & France Regional Compliance Manager M/F will receive a basic salary up to £50,000 plus excellent company benefits.
