To strengthen the Supply Chain Planning team in Canton de Vaud, we are currently looking for a Senior Planner.

Job Summary:

- Demand and Forecasting control of finished goods distributed and shipped through Swiss Planning team

- Optimize supply chain & service levels.

- Co-develop and implement new supply chain concepts and/or products

- Carry out Forecasting and Procurement of imported and local finished goods/capital equipment with a view to ensuring timely availability of inventory to satisfy customer demand within company specified performance parameters.

- Responsible for maintaining accurate Forecasting data.

- Develop, maintain internal relationships (Customer service / Sales and Marketing / Finance ) and ensure an understanding of their processes and systems to enable timely and efficient delivery of finished goods/capital equipment.

Principal Accountabilities:

Forecasting and Procurement:

- Understand lead-times from all suppliers to enable timely delivery of finished goods/raw materials to meet customer demands.

- Carry our forecasting of all finished goods/capital equipment using tools and systems available and within company procedures and work instructions with a view to consistently and timely identification of purchase requirements.

- Ensure all records are maintained in appropriate files.

- Enter purchase orders and requisitions information into supplier systems and/or raise purchase orders on suppliers

- Review all system generated recommendations to ensure consistency with inventory and forecasting requirements.

- Liaise with Product Managers on a regular basis to ensure thorough understanding of future finished goods/capital equipment requirements.

- Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and develop strategies/plans to eliminate excess.

- Manage EOL (end of life) and NPI (New product Implementation) processes.

Customer Development and Management:

- Liaise with Customer service / Sales and Marketing / Finance departments to discuss lowering the cost of supply, enhancing supply chain responsiveness, adoption of new technologies and entrepreneurial purchasing strategies.

- Develop relationships with internal customers / Sales and Marketing, such that knowledge of alternative materials is available at all times.

- Participate in business to business conference calls and meetings to facilitate excellence in supply chain processes.

- Ensure timely Planning information is available to key stakeholders and customers to satisfy reporting requirements.

- Ensure effective & current documentation of all Planning systems and processes are maintained.

Profil recherché

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with similar responsibilities.

- High proficiency with MS Office.

- Demonstrates a solid knowledge of programs, processes, reporting systems, relevant software applications, analytical techniques/tools, compensation concepts, and current regulatory guidelines I think this is too long we should shorten this bullet point Strong Analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex business issues to people at all organization level.

- Pursues work proactively with drive and suggests ways to improve processes to fulfill the department's need.

- Project Management experience.

- Adapts to varying work situations and is flexible in the approach to resolving challenges - Knowledge of SAP 6.0 ECC / MM


- Speak and write English at a high proficiency level with good level of German and/or French. - Completion of a relevant diploma in Supply Chain with relevant work related experience or completion of a recognizable Certificate with extensive relevant work.

- Certified in CPIM or equivalent is a plus.
