Description du poste

The Fund Administrator, who is assigned to his duties by the Administrative Council, is responsible for:

  • managing the funds and the associated organizational units
  • drafting proposals for submission to the Supervisory Board in relation to the investment philosophy, guidelines and strategy of the Organization, strategic asset allocation and other rules, and overseeing the proposal's implementation and maintenance
  • drawing up and submitting reports
  • concluding and terminating contracts with external parties
  • setting up appropriate risk controls and risk management procedures
  • evaluating individual investment results

As head of this principal directorate, the Fund Administrator is responsible for the correct and efficient organization of daily activities by managing a staff of 16 working in the following units:

  • Portfolio Management
  • Investment Analytic and Risk and Process Management
  • Accounting and Internal Control
  • Administration and Operations

Profil recherché

  • at least ten year's professional experience, five of them in a managerial position:
    • with responsibility for a pension or retirement fund, or
    • in the context of fund management
  • experience of relevant procedures and technical expertise
  • the ability to manage the reserve funds and in particular the ability to formulate and implement a strategy to achieve their long-term objectives
  • strong interpersonal skills, the ability to relate to staff and external service providers
  • the highest standards of integrity
  • capacity to perform and work under high pressure
  • communication and networking skills
  • The capacity to get the maximum out of a team; promoting and developing the team member's commitment.
  • The capacity to establish a network of professional relationships within and outside of our client, maintaining it and using it for the exchange of ideas and support.
  • The capacity to transfer responsibilities and competencies and to give instructions in a way that enables the team to fulfill its targets as to quality, costs, realization and turnaround times.
  • The talent to convince others, i.e. to exercise one's own influence on others positively and to get them on board to jointly carry out or even actively support a given idea or project.
